It will seem random enough to read this out loud, but hang with me. In one of my former lives, I was a mortgage expert with a great deal of consumer finance experience. That era of my life ended over three years ago, when I went into business for myself... but it's funny that with just the right amount of prodding, a lot of that knowledge just comes flooding back (Thanks George and Brewed Fresh Daily). I read George's site every day, he's a good friend of mine and I work with him at Cool Cleveland. His link to Bill Callahan's commentary on Brewed Fresh Daily (look for a future "PCHQ Shares" about BFD) about Cleveland's mortgage and foreclosure woes had me reaching back into my bag of tricks and dusting off an old, 2/3rds of screenplay I had written. Collecting Dust, I call it. I've decided now is as good as any time to finish it and most of the dialogue is written already... perhaps someday, I can get it made into an indie film that makes $88.00, scores me free food somewhere locally and gets into a Film Fest somewhere along the Great Lakes. I'll post some snippets of dialogue here in the coming weeks and months... it will have a special header, so keep your eyes peeled.
